Chelsea Under- 18s began the season on a winning note after thrashing Norwich City 4-1 away from home on Saturday.
The Blues star performer at Colney Training Centre (Norfolk) was Anglo – Nigerian striker Ike Ugbo who bagged a hat – trick after scoring in the 48th, 59th and 85th minutes.
Ugbo, an England youth international, was delighted to help Chelsea win their first game in the new season.
“Great 4-1win vs Norwich ,good to start the season off with a hat-trick ????????#CFCU18,” the 16 – year – old tweeted.
The attacker is one of the players to watch out for at the 2015 FIFA Under 17 World Cup.
