Ikosi-Ejinrin gets NSCDC office

Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Anomo,  has performed the groundbreaking for an office complex to house Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Athe event were Oba Asunmo Aderibigbe, Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu; Olowu of Owu-Ikosi, Oba Nelson Ogunlari; Lagos State Commandant of NSCDC, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro; Council Manager, Mr. Sunday Awobajo; Council Treasurer, Mr. Lawal Adeshina; Supervisor for Works, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Babatunde Yusuf; Odo-Ayandelu council of chiefs; and Commandant designated to head Ikosi-Ejinrin formation, Dada Omolola, among others.

Anomo hailed the support from stakeholders. He noted significance of the project, emphasising how it will enhance security, peace, and community development in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.

Anomo thanked the Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu for his commitment to the community’s progress. He appreciated NSCDC for recognising Odo-Ayandelu and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA as suitable for a formation.

“The establishment of this NSCDC office is not just a construction project; it is a symbol of our commitment to ensuring security of residents,” said Anomo. “This initiative will instil confidence in investors, fostering an environment conducive to growth and development…”

Oba Asunmo Ganiyu Aderibigbe (JAMADE I), who donated the land, noted that the project is not just for Odo-Ayabdelu but Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA and Lagos State.

He hailed NSCDC for granting Odo-Ayandelu the privilege of hosting the security agency.
