Chairman of the council, Princess Samiat Bada, expressed her gratitude to participants for their support which, she said, has contributed significantly to the council’s success.

“I am pleased to announce that we have made significant progress on key infrastructure projects. We hope to bring quality healthcare closer to our people with the ongoing construction of primary health centre at the secretariat. We’ll also improve the conditions of our existing health centres to enhance access to healthcare,” she said.

Bada highlighted the council’s achievements, including the Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu administration complex, new legislative building and the completion of 32 roads across the seven wards in the council.

The council leader characterised her administration as a responsive government, saying “I am focused on empowering small businesses through provision of business support grants and business advisory services for market leaders. These initiatives have strengthened the economic capacity of our people, particularly women and youths,” she said.
