MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has shifted focus to his side’s Nigeria Professional Football League match day five fixture against Kano Pillars at the Agege stadium on Sunday.
Both sides played a 1-1 draw in Lagos in the first leg of last season’s clash before the Kano-based NPFL side edged the Lagos side 1-0 in the reverse fixture at the Sani Abacha stadium later in the season.
“I want to appreciate my players for their performance against Shooting Stars yesterday (Wednesday) but we have put that behind us as we are focusing on our next game against Kano Pillars which is a very important game,”Ilechukwu told media.
“The last time they came, we played draw but this time, we will do everything possible to beat them because the game is very important to us.”
