The governorship candidate of the Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Bola Aidi, has said his administration will bring back the golden era of former Governor Adekunle Ajasin.
He said the emergence of Julius Tiewei as his running mate would boost the party’s chances of winning the November 26 election.
Aidi noted that the choice of Tiewei has altered the political calculation of stakeholders, particularly in the Southwest.
He pledged the determination of his party to overhaul all the decayed infrastructures and moribund industries abandoned by the Mimiko administration.
This, he noted, would facilitate job opportunities for the unemployed, promising to be prompt in the payment of workers’ salaries,
He also promised to attract investors to the sunshine state to boost its economy.
