Institute promotes maintenance culture

Speakers are set to explore the challenges hindering the effective maintenance across various sectors and propose solutions to foster a culture of infrastructure, machinery, and public assets.

At the inaugural lecture being organised by the Institute for Promotion of Maintenance Culture billed for the Lagos Airport Hotel on August 28, the speakers will dissect these and more issues.

The event has as its theme “Revitalising maintenance culture in Nigeria: A critical challenge and the path forward”.

In a statement, the institute’s Executive Director, Moses Ali, said as Nigeria navigates its path toward sustainable development and growth, the need to cultivate a robust maintenance culture had never been become more urgent’

The lecture will feature key industry players,  stakeholders,  decision and makers who will provide valuable insights into how a revitalised maintenance culture can serve as a catalyst for stability, job creation, and long-term prosperity.

Also, the event will include panel discussions with renowned experts and interactive sessions that encourage dialogue on innovative strategies and best practices.

Key topics to be discussed include ‘How to embrace a proactive maintenance culture to reduce downtime, costs and improve overall operational efficiency’ and ‘How to achieve great maintenance culture with a change management practices’.
