A foremost pro education/development association in Oke Ogun area of Oyo State, Pioneer Movement Iseyin (PMI), has joined well-wishers to rejoice with the newly appointed Secretary to Oyo State Government (SSG), Prof. Olanike Adeyemo.
In a statement by the Public Relations Officer, Razaq Asaju, signed by the President, Abimbola Ojedokun, the group described Prof. Adeyemo’s appointment as well-deserved and a recognition of Iseyin’s worth in the current dispensation in the state.

Extolling the virtues of the new SSG, Ojedokun said Adeyemo is an exemplary academic and an Iseyin indigene, being the first female Deputy Vice Chancellor in the University of Ibadan, who enjoyed a leading career during the COVID-19 period, distinguishing herself and serving selflessly.
Ojedokun hoped that Prof. Adeyemo will excel in her new position and raise the banner of governance in Oyo State as is her hallmark in whatever assignment she does.
Prof. Adeyemo and Pioneer Movement Iseyin have come a long way. She is a regular face at the PMI annual lecture in Iseyin. She was the chairperson at the 2021 edition. She was also recognised by PMI with distinguished merit award during the week activities.
