Former Presidential Adviser, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, has mourned the demise of the Queen of England, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Ita-Giwa in a statement, said she was saddened by the demise of the monarch, who she greatly admired.

She fondly recalled the opportunity of interacting with the Queen when invited to Buckingham Palace for a tea party as a Commonwealth parliamentarian.
She congratulated King Charles III and his wife Camilla, as he begins his reign and prayed God to guide him through.
“It was with a heavy heart that I received the news of the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch of the United Kingdom, who I greatly admired.
“I condole with the Royal Family, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth nations for this loss,” she said.
