Judgment in the Taraba State governorship dispute is currently being read by the Chairman of the state’s governorship election petitions tribunal, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, in Abuja.
So far, the tribunal has resolved the four notices of preliminary objections filed by the respondents against the applicants.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Hajiya Aisha Jumai Alhassan, are challenging the election of Governor Darius Ishaku in the April 11 election.
Ishaku, his party – the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are respondents to the petition.
