Katsina State FA boss Alhaji Aminu Balele Kurfi has urged stakeholders to eschew bitterness and put Nigerian football interest first to ensure the success of newly elected Nigeria Football Federation Executive Committee.
Kurfi was at the 2022 NFF elections held in Benin City on Friday and the former Katsina United chairman noted that the process that led to the emergence of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau as the NFF President was free and fair.
The dark skinned frontline administrator stated that the process went ahead peacefully without any issue and that the fact that there was no petition from anyone indicated that the election went well.

He added there was no winner and loser , adding those that were not successful at the election can start working early knowing that there would be another election in 2026.
“We thank God for making it possible for us to witness this memorable occasion. Politics is part of our business. It is just like playing football, draught, Ludo and so on, you either win or lose,” Kurfi told journalists.
“We are so lucky it was a free and fair election. I don’t think there is any petition against any result. Base on what we assumed and what we prayed for, there was no victor or vanquished. Nobody lost.
“Those who won are celebrating while those that lost can close rank and start working ahead of the next four years,” Kurfi noted.
