Kefee’s hubby remarries family therapist nine years


Nine years after the death of gospel singer, ‘Kefee’ Obareki, her hubby, Teddy Don Momoh, has remarried.

Don Momoh tied the knot with his new bride, Lara Kudayisi, a family therapist, during the Easter break in a private ceremony.

The excited couple shared videos and photos of their joyous moments via their Instagram pages.

The groom shared a video which he captioned: “Mr Don-Momoh is back y’all…. Thanks to all who waited patiently, prayed for me, supported me with all the -lys in search of my heart .. 

“Ladies and gentlemen I’m glad to let you know that I’m back to fulfill destiny whole again, equipped with all the tools and I’m not alone in this.”

He also shared a photo with his bride in their traditional attire which captured her almost whispering to him as he listened with rapt attention.

The new bride’s Instagram bio reads: “HEALED from having a child@19. 14 Heartbreaks. 15 Abortions and a Divorce. I help heal from Trauma, Emotional Pain and Childhood Dysfunctions”.

She captioned the marriage post: “Mr & Mrs Don-Momoh in the building..
I’m still in the moon guys, but let me just drop this here; You can find love again after trauma and pain..

The ‘Kokoroko” singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh died of lung failure at a hospital in Los Angeles, California on June 12, 2014. Prior to her death, she had been in a coma for fifteen days.

She was buried on Friday July 11, 2014 in her hometown Okpara Inland, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta.
