Former Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors coach, Kennedy Boboye will be announced as the new coach of Plateau United this week.
Boboye will replace Zakary Baraje, who quit at the end of the past season.
Boboye’s new appointment has been delayed because Plateau United’s general manager is currently out of the country.
Last season, Boboye chalked up a 10-game unbeaten run at Abia Warriors, but the Umuahia team will later struggle causing the young coach to throw in the towel.
Plateau United successfully navigated a first season back in the top flight after a rather difficult start.
