Kogi state U16 boys will be counting on the support of the governor
Yahaya Bello to compete at this year’s Muritala Ramat Mohammed
Football Tournament for U-16 boys and U-18 girls in Kano.
The state team named GYB have been in camp for over three weeks in
preparations for the four-day long championship scheduled to hold from
February 12-16.
The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria National Secretary Patrick
Okpavuerhe said the teams are expected to arrive at the Kano Pillars
Stadium on Friday.
The Kogi contingents are hoping the support of the state government
would ensure their participation and challenge for the tournament’s
crown.
