Kuku urges Fouad Oki to turn around Eko Football

Team Nigeria Director Yomi Kuku has described the newly elected Lagos State football association chairman, Dr. Fouad Oki as being on a journey to take football in the state to the right destination.

‘’What happened last week is a redirection of football in Lagos State, ’’ he said.

He also applauded Oki for his dogged commitment to principles in the practice of politics, the rule of law and the best democratic tradition of fairness.

“Dr Fouad Oki should be applauded in his quest to bring about football development in Lagos State” he noted.

Kuku in a statement, commended the voters for giving the mission-driven politician, whose drive and grasp of development issues have made him a significant voice in the country’s quest for socio-economic development, the opportunity to work for football growth and overall development of the country.

‘’Dr Fouad Oki embodies what is special about Lagos State, a force and an integrity that is completely genuine,” he further said.“He will continue to seek what is best for the good people of Lagos State.

“The newly elected FA boss should be supported by everyone in his drive to develop football in Lagos State.”

Oki, according to Kuku, is one of the most ardent promoters of the unity and development of Nigeria.

He is expected to provide the necessary driving force for the state’s football development. The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is also expected to organize glamorous soccer competitions in Lagos State.

‘’Education and sports will continue to grow and prosper as one in Lagos State,’’ the statement added.
