The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, has restated his commitment to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to every part of the world.

He said the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) has reached 3 million people across the world.

The popular cleric spoke at the formal launch of the GCK brand and two of his books, titled: Voyage to Liberation and Shown Approved Ministers at the Lagos State University of Technology (LASUTECH) in Ikorodu, Lagos.

The event attracted thousands of Christians from across Nigeria and beyond, and the unveiling of the logo.

Among the guests at the event were a former Vice President of Zambia, Nevers Mumba, and a judge of the Lagos State High Court, Justice Mojisola Dada.

Kumuyi said humanity now lives in a crisis-ridden world, despite scientific breakthroughs and technological advancements.

The popular cleric said the world is witnessing increasing economic, social, cultural, and ecological upheavals, which negatively impact lives globally.

“People, across the world are grappling with deep-seated emotional problems. Dependence on psychotropic drugs is on the rise. The suicide rate has spiked. It all has to do with the fallen nature of man,” he said.

Kumuyi noted that though the world celebrates its strides through the human skillful hands and ability, mankind still yearns for more.

According to him, this was the mission and mandate of the Lord Jesus Christ to the world over 2,000 years ago.

“It is this same mandate and mission that now drives me and has led to the birth of the GCK, proclaiming the gospel, bringing reprieve and solace to a world gripped with mounting and seemingly unresolvable crises.

“What began as a mustard seed about a year ago with deepening roots has spread far and wide and blossomed as we stand in awe of the mercy and might of God.

“Based on statistics and analysis of our media streams, the GCK, over the past year, has reached more than 150 countries with a monthly average physical audience of between 40,000 to 150,000 and a virtual audience of over 3,000,000 people globally.

“We have documented over 200,000 people across the world who have been saved and transformed during these crusades. More than 30 million people have been impacted globally in the last year through the GCK,” he said.
