Fuji maestro Wasiu Ayinde Marshall aka KWAM 1 will, today, gather several dignitaries and fans of his late mentor and Fuji legend, Sikiru Ayinde Agbajelola aka Barrister, for the first edition of an annual colloquium.
The annual colloquium, which is in honour of the late Fuji legend, is scheduled to kick off at exactly 10 am at the Raddison Blu in Ikeja, GRA.
The Nation reliably gathered that Maiyegun of Yoruba land will be joined by eminent personalities that include music stars, government personalities, and business tycoons for the event.
According to the media consultant to the Fuji maestro, Kunle Rasheed, two eminent personalities, Dr. Muiz Banire and Professor Jelili Ojuade, have been scheduled to speak at the colloquium.
Rasheed also noted that the colloquium is scheduled to be an annual event with activities such as lectures, tributes, and musical concerts.
In February 2022, BarryFest, a music festival organised by fans, comprising of 16 clubs, honoured the memory of the late Fuji music superstar, who died on December 16, 2010, at the age of 62.
At the event, revered filmmaker Tunde Kelani said there are plans to produce and release a film on the late Fuji Music creator as a way to further immortalise him.
