Lagos Assembly aspirants mobilise for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, others

Conference of 2019 and 2023 Lagos State House of Assembly Aspirant (LAHAA) Connect in All Progressive Congress (APC) has stormed Amuwo-Odofin to canvass votes for the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other candidates of the party.

The group, which is an independent campaign council of APC, said the step became necessary to gavanise support and secure win for Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu and other APC candidates in the general elections.

Speaking at the event tagged: “Market Storm,” Chairman of LAHAA Connect, Hon. Rotimi Gbajabiamila said: “Amuwo-Odofin is a place that is united in several ethnics, we felt there is need to bring everybody together and appeal to people to come out massively and vote for Tinubu and other APC candidates.

“We are calling on all market men and women, leaders irrespective of their religion or ethnicity to come out in unity and vote for Tinubu, we want people to come out during elections and vote the same way they come out for the ‘market storm.’

APC Assembly candidate for Amuwo-Odofin Constituency 1 Hon. Ola Western said Tinubu’s antecedents and track records speak volumes, adding that none of the leading presidential candidate can match his achievements.

He said: “Tinubu is the best among all, he has save Lagos, considering numbers of people coming to Lagos daily for tourism, business and others, Asiwaju is an architect of Lagos State, his plan and design till today is still working for Lagos.”

“It is a good initiative that aspirant that are suppose to be aggrieve are coming together to work for the progress and love of the party, it makes us come together as one family, in APC, we are so decipline, that is why we keep growing stronger.”

The Iyaloja, Ikeja Local government Alhaja Adiatu Apena said Ikeja remains the base of Tinubu, saying everybody in the local government and across the State are fully behind the APC candidate.

She urged residents to collect their PVCs to exercise their franchise, saying Tinubu’s God given mandate to become President is unshakeable.

 LAHAA Treasurer, Adebiyi Adesipe, from Ikeja Constituency 01, said everybody in the ward is behind Tinubu, adding that their votes belongs to the APC candidate.
