A socio-cultural group of professionals, Ile Bintin, has congratulated one of the founders of the modern Lagos, Alhaji Lateef Olufemi Okunnu, SAN, who recently clocked 85.
According to a statement signed by the chairman of the group, Dr . Gbolahan Taiwo Alli-Balogun, on behalf of the executive committee and members, the grouped wished Okunnu many more glorious years ahead.
“We celebrate your exceptional legal , statesmanship and religious leadership skills, as one of the founding fathers of modern Lagos. Your enormous contributions and service to the development of our country will remain indelible in the annals of Nigeria’s history.
“It is our firm belief that your towering stature as one of the leading lights and statesmen on different national platforms for Nigerian development can never be attributed to anything but the grace of Almighty Allah. As such we join you in singing praises to the Almighty,” the statement said.
