The Conference of State Assemblies’ Speakers, comprising speakers of the 36 state Houses of Assembly, will begin tomorrow in Lagos for three days.
It will deliberate on national issues, especially those bordering on the legislature.
The meeting, according to a statement by the Chairman of Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Adefunmilayo Tejuoso, will hold at the Radison Blue Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja, the state capital.
The statement said the deliberations will be based on paper presentation, while the visiting Speakers, who will be hosted by host Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, will attend a dinner tomorrow organised by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
The conference proper will hold on Saturday, where papers will be presented.
