Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected traffic robber and recovered stolen goods valued at N20 million, following a swift operation on the CMS-Marina Bridge.
The arrest was carried out by detectives from the Ebute-Ero Police Division after intelligence reports pointed to the suspect’s involvement in traffic-related robberies in the area.
According to the command’s spokesperson, Chief Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspect was apprehended in a coordinated operation that led to the recovery of high-end hair products allegedly stolen during a recent heist.

“Detectives of the Ebute-Ero Division in Lagos have apprehended a suspected traffic robber and recovered stolen goods worth N20 million following a police response to a tip-off about a brazen highway theft on the CMS-Marina Bridge,” Hundeyin said in a statement.
He noted that the items were traced to a robbery that occurred in transit, targeting a consignment of premium hair products.
