Lagos State, through its Office of Establishments and Training, has begun the training of public officers
One aspect of the training, with the theme: ‘Design and Implementation of Key Performance Indicators in the State Public Service’, began yesterday at the State Secretariat Alausa, Ikeja.
It was attended by over 60 officers from the health sector, comprising the Health Service Commission, Public Health Board, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital and the Ministry of Health.
The training was designed to ensure competencies in drawing up matrices to measure performance and achievement, and to equip officers with skills to prepare measures and indicators to be used to measure performance and achievement of set goals.
Workshops are also being held in different locations in the state.
