The Association of Advertising Agencies (AAAN), an umbrella body of the advertising companies operating in Nigeria, is set to hold its 49th Annual General Meeting and Congress (AGM).
The 49th AGM with the theme: ‘The new world order: technology as a game changer’, will hold in Lagos on Friday.
In a statement yesterday, AAAN said Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed are among the dignitaries expected to attend the congress.
It added that Sanwo-Olu will declare the AGM open, while Mohammed, whose ministry oversees advertising, will grace the event as the keynote speaker as well as the special guest of honour.
Other expected speakers include David Okeme, executive director, System Specs; Olu Akanmu, president and co-chief executive officer, Opay Nigeria; Adetayo Bamiduro, chief executive officer and co-founder Max. Ng; Niyi Yusuf, managing partner, Verraki Africa; and Juliet Ehimuan-Chiazor, Google country manager.
The following panellists are expected to grace the occasion: Norden Thurston, marketing director, Seven Up; Kelechi Nwosu, managing director, TBWA; Jay Chukwuemeka, partner, Imaginarium; and Ose Osundeko chief operating officer, Digitas Nigeria.
