Members of the Leo Club, District 404B2 have donated a new mower to the De La Sella College, in Ondo State. The lawn mower was donated at the annual leadership conference of the club.
Over 165 youths from tertiary institutions in the six Southwest states participated in the conference. President of District 404B2, Leo Adegoke Olufolake, said activities of the conference were in line with its theme, ‘Raising leaders and Innovative thinkers.’
Leo Adegoke said the donation was to assist the school in environmental cleanliness. She said the act of kindness was what they do in Leo’s club.”We want the youths to become better leaders of their society. We have 165 youths registered for this conference.”
District Leo Programme Chairperson, 404B2 Nigeria, Lion Blessing Umebali, said the environmental project commissioned by the Leo District 404B2 Nigeria was a testament that the youths were taking charge and being responsible to responsively touch lives as well as impacting the world.
She said the Mower Machine, which was donated by the Leo District to the Management of De La Sella College, in Ondo State is an environmental project, being one of the focal areas that the Lions International focused on.
