A group, Atiku Abubakar Southwest Assembly, has urged aggrieved members and stakeholders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), especially in the Southwest, to settle their differences ahead of 2023 general election.
Speaking in Ibadan at a summit with the theme: “Atiku/Okowa 2023 – The Southwest Perspective”, the Southwest Chairman of the body, Sen Felix Ogunwale, said although there were agitations in the party, it (the party) had the capacity to resolve them.

He said the purpose of the programme was to set agenda to accommodate the interests of Southwest within the context of prevailing political and economic realities.
Speaking on behalf of the PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Director of All Support Group for Atiku, Mr. Oladimeji Fabiyi, said the group had been working for Atiku since 2015 towards promoting and projecting his candidature.
He thanked the support groups, saying they were the pillar Atiku relied on for his success in the coming election.
