A chainsaw operator identified as Shosho has been killed by lightning at Ayo Camp, Oke-Oko community in Idanre local government area.

Witnesses said he was set to cut a tree known as Koleagbe when the lightning struck.

According to a witness, “It was like an electric spark and a heavy thunder shook the entire community.

“We were shocked and we could not comprehend the mystery of the thunderstrike.”

Deputy Chairman of Ayo Camp, Oluwaseun Akinrinlade, confirmed the incident.
