Ex- Porto coach, Julen Lopetegui, has been appointed the new coach of the Spanish national team, taking over from Vicente del Bosque.
Del Bosque stepped down from the post following a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign and Lopetegui will now guide the former World champions towards the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Goal reports.
Lopetegui, who has managed Spain at U-19, U-20 and U-21 level, takes the senior side role, following his two-year reign with Porto.
