Eminent Nigerians will storm Efon-Alaaye Kingdom in Ekiti State at the weekend for the burial of a prominent community leader, Chief Mrs. Dorcas Akanni, Iyalaje of the ancient town.

She was 91.

A statement by her family said a wake would be held today in her home, Akanni Compound, Iloro, from 4pm.

The remains of Mrs. Akanni will be interred after a funeral service at St. Paul Anglican Church,  Idagba, Efon-Alaaye.

The deceased is survived by her children-Alhaja Olanike, Afolabi Akanni, a former member of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Omobolaji Amoke and Balogun Gbenga Akanni, a businessman.
