Rising music act, Olamide Kehinde aka TesKi, and his producer cum singer and biological brother, Kolawole Kehinde aka Mani X have launched an independent label with a new song entitled ‘Rock with me.’
The entertainers launched their independent label, Respect The Art, RTA, with the song recently.
According to the brothers, the ‘Respect the Art’ music company was inspired by the belief that music as an art form deserves more respect from both music creators and fans.
While ManiX believes creators need to make music from the heart and feel passionate about it, TesKi says music creators must minimise the influence of external factors without necessarily cutting it all out. The brothers both opined that commercial acceptance and public opinion on their creative process should be minimised while fans need to end comparison and judgment.
