Marketing chief to take over Giwa FC

Marketing director Sammy Adesoji may take over Giwa FC for this weekend’s game against Sharks following the departure of coach Aminu Musa, AfricanFootball.com has learnt.

Adesoji has also been acting as the Jos club’s assistant coach.

The acting chief coach of Giwa FC Musa parted ways with Giwa for family reasons, according to a source close to the coach.

The former Mighty Jets of Jos goalkeeper trainer has doubled as the chief coach and goalkeeper trainer of the team.

Aminu took over from coach Tony Bulus, who was shown the exit door by the club owner Chris Giwa after a 4-0 loss to Sunshine Stars.

Before his resignation, Giwa went five games unbeaten: drew at Akwa United and Bayelsa United, defeated Enyimba, Lobi and Rangers in Jos before losing at Taraba.
