No fewer than 150 companies from 21 countries and 2,70 professionals are being expected at the Medic West Africa Exhibition & Conference slated for September 7 to 9, at Landmark, Victoria Island, Lagos.
In a statement, the organisers, Informa Market, said the event, which is the ninth edition, was coming after two years.
Medic West Africa, Exhibition Manager Amogh Wadwalkar, said: “The past few years have shown us how much needs to be done in Africa, in terms of medical innovation and healthcare technology advancements.
“As a gathering, which hosts hundreds of leading healthcare companies and thousands of healthcare medical professionals yearly, Medic West Africa is the best gateway to access the West African healthcare market.
“We will be launching Medlab – Informa’s distinguished exhibition showcasing innovative products across the medical laboratory industry.”
There would also be a conference for participants to deliberate on the innovations and opportunities to the sector. It is supported by trade associations, governmental agencies, and industry partners such as Siemens, DCL Laboratory, Erba Mannheim, Qiagen, GE, and Abbott.
