COALITION of Good Governance and Economic Justice in Africa will hold a workshop in Abuja today on ‘Balancing ethics and Patriotism: The obligations of journalists to their country.’
Keynote speakers are Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, his Economic Planning and Budget counterpart, Clem Agba, and former Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate Adewole Adebayo.

Speakers at the lecture in Abuja Continental Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotel) are Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi, Mohammad Yahya, Col. Abdulwahab Lawal, Amanda Walker, Hadiza Usman, Opeyemi Kehinde, and Kingsley Osadolor.
Convener, John Mayaki, said the workshop is to examine the relationship between journalism, patriotism and national interest, the impact of citizen journalism and seek collaboration on enforcement of the ethics of journalism.
