ALIYAH Alao, the daughter of US based Nollywood star Mistura Asunramu and sports journalist Olusola Alao, has taken after her mother to pursue a career in acting.
The 10-year-old Aliyah has already featured in three movies where she has shown she has a future in the make-believe industry.
The films include ‘Wadu Wadu,’ ‘Arobo,’ and ‘OmoTee.’
In the latest film Apanimayoda (Silent Killer), produced by her mum, Aliyah performed creditably well with the way she delivered her dialogue and her facial expressions.
Speaking of her acting career, Aliyah said, “I love acting a lot. When I watch my mum, she is real and I always look forward to doing what she does. I watch American kids movies too. I know I can do it. I always tell her I want to act. So when she told me it’s time, I was happy.”
Continuing, Aliyah said, “It will be a dream come true when I act with American kids, movie stars, and the big stars.”
Aliyah is a tiktoker with an official YouTube channel and Instagram.
Asunramu, who is happy about the development, noted that Aliyah is also doing well in her academic work.
