Singer Simi has blamed her mother for the colloquial expression of her daughter.
In a tweet, Simi spoke about her mother’s influence on her three-year-old daughter, Adejare’s articulation.
She explained after her toddler spoke in a particular way, she immediately knew the person that influenced her expression.

She said: “My daughter looked at the tap, and said “Oya, on it”, and I knew it was my mother that did that. Well, that was a good run.”
Simi and her colleague-cum-hubby tied the knots at a private ceremony in Lagos, in December 2019.
On May 30, 2020, they welcomed their first child, Adejare Kosoko.
