Traditional head of Idi-oyin Imoke in Ibeju Lekki Local Government of Lagos State, Chief Saheed Omotayo, has felicitated the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, on his re-election.
In a statement, Omotayo said the choice of lawmakers to give Obasa another four-year term could not be faulted as it shows his colleagues have faith in his administrative style.
“The House and Lagos State, is fortunate to have a pioneer like Obasa who will hold hands with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for improvement of the state.
“On behalf of myself and people of my community, I salute you on the new task,’’ he added.
The ruler urged his partners to lift Obasa by giving him the moral support and help to enable him succeed in his new assignment.
Specifically, Omotayo sought a cordial relationship among the organs of state to enable the people enjoy dividend of democracy.
