MTN has said its CEO, Ferdi Moolman, is not evading the service of court papers on him by the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) over allegations of copyright infringement by a musician known as Baba 2010.
Its Executive, Amina Oyagbola, in a statement yesterday said: “The allegation that Mr. Moolman is evading service is patently false. At all times material to the circumstances leading to the subject, Mr. Moolman was not the Chief Executive of MTN.”
Oyagbola said the matter was before a competent court for determination and parties are expected to refrain from commenting on same. She however stated that the matter had been amicably resolved between the parties.
