My mom, school influenced my career, says LyonKing

Budding artiste, Odeleye Temiyanju popularly known as LyonKing has explained how he was born into a musically inclined background.

The pop singer who has his eyes fixed on 2022 disclosed how his chorister’s mother influenced his career positively.

On his passion and sojourn into music, LionKing said: “I was born into a home of music. So from the time I knew that I was going to do music professionally. Music to me is life; I preach my life into the music I make”.

He continues: “I feel like it’s a weapon I use to communicate how I feel and react to things in general. Any time I feel the urge and different ideas come to me I channel them into music.

“Singing for me is a family thing because my mum was the lead chorister for our church and I have virtually been singing since I was a little boy. While in high school, I used to participate in talent hunts and the likes. So I’d say my life revolves around music,” he added.

The Ibadan-born rising star who made his grand entry into the music industry in 2019 with the hit single One Day, featuring his friend Orlando hinted that he has been working tirelessly as he put finishing touches on his Extended Play (EP).

The song affirms the uniqueness of his sound and reveals his ability to deliver words with music, and since his emergence, he has continued to take his music beyond boundaries.

“I have seriously been working day and night to ensure I give the best for my fans,” he said.
