NEC dissolves executives of UNILORIN alumni over factionalisation

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the University of Ilorin Alumni Association, convened by past presidents of the association, at the weekend dissolved the executives of the group.

The factional executives were locked in a war over the control of the association leading to allegations and counter-allegations bordering on financial impropriety.

The dissolution of the warring executives was part of the resolution of the NEC meeting held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

This followed the adoption of the report of Prof. Adegboyega Fawole-led Fact Findings Committee raised as a result of the crisis rocking the association over factional executives.
