NEPAD announces relaunch, rebranding

The Chairman of the NEPAD Business Group Nigeria (NBGN), Bashorun J.K. Randle, has unveiled plans to relaunch and rebrand the organisation.

This marks a new era for the group as it continues to support Nigeria’s economic growth and regional integration.

Randle, at a briefing, emphasised that NEPAD (New Partnership for Africa’s Development) has been a pivotal force in advancing sustainable development across Africa.

He said as part of the relaunch, NBGN aims to strengthen its role as a catalyst for national and continental growth, aligning with NEPAD’s mission of fostering economic development through public-private partnerships.

According to him, NBGN’s strategy will prioritise  sectors that drive growth, such as trade, investment, and industrial development. He said collaboration with government bodies, the private sector, and international partners will be central to creating a business-friendly environment.

“The group will engage directly with key policymakers, including the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Ministry of Finance, to align its initiatives with Nigeria’s broader economic objectives. Structured policy recommendations will be presented to drive national economic advancement.
