The House of Representatives have summoned top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation to appear before its committee on sports tomorrow.
The summon is against the backdrop of the football house’s inability to pay the Super Falcons who reached the knockout stage in Australia at the ongoing women’s world cup and the Flying Eagles who achieved a quarter final finish in Argentina in June during the U20 World Cup.

A member of the Committee confirmed that the NFF officials will appear before it’s committee on Tuesday morning and the essence of meeting is to find out modalities on how they intend to settle both the Super Falcons and Flying Eagles outstanding bonuses and allowances.
The Flying Eagles under Head Coach Ladan Bosso finished third with a bronze medal during the U20 AFCON in Egypt and knocked out host nation Argentina in the quarter final.
It is the first time Flying Eagles achieved a quarter final feat since 2011 in Colombia under Coach John Obuh.
