NIDO Africa commences continental trade of made in Nigeria products, services

On Tuesday, July 22, the Nigerians In Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) Africa, organised its second interactive seminar focused on export promotion of Made-in-Nigeria products and services in Lagos.

The seminar, which had dignitaries and exporters of Made in Nigeria products and services in attendance, was held at the De Rembrandt Hotel in a convivial environment.

The crux of the discussion at the seminar led by the Continental Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) Africa, Professor Jude Osakwe, was the need and essence of collaborating with NIDO Africa to boost Nigerian, African businesses across the continent.

The Continental Chairman outlined NIDO Africa’s strategic vision to position Nigerian entrepreneurs at the forefront of Africa’s unprecedented economic growth, with the continent’s combined GDP approaching $3.4 trillion.

Speaking at the interactive session, which had various speakers and country chairmen and chairperson of NIDO Africa in different African countries in attendance, Osakwe said the purpose of the seminar was to export Nigerian products to other African countries.

“By doing this, we are creating a marketing structure side- by- side and enabling an environment for farmers to export their farm produce and manufacturing products to other African countries,” Osakwe said.
