The recent increasing mob attacks that left a Nigerian dead in the country has created awareness among social and political activists regarding the safety of other nationals residing in the country.

On Feb. 17, The South African police announced the death of Nicholas John after attacks on foreigners by South African gangsters.

A pan Africanist and a member of the South African parliament Julius Malema aired his voice on the recent killings by mobs on the unity among Africans.

In a testimony, he said: ” We came from one country call Africa. South Africa is Africa. We are one country called Africa.

“As a westerner, you are using South Africa as a refreshment station. you are not here to settle, you were a passing and because of our Africanese and the spirit of Ubuntu, we have embraced you and share our land with you and we have accepted that you have nationalized in this country. But it doesn’t change the fact that you came here as a visitor.

“But for Nigerians, Ghanaians, all other countries should not second guess or even for a second doubt themselves when they are in South Africa. This is their home. This is our home”

” This south Africa was imposed on us. We didn’t come from anywhere and no African come from anywhere and Africa is a nation, and this is our continent.”
