Enyimba FC goalkeeper John Noble has been drafted as a replacement for Francis Uzoho who was reported sick ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia just as the Super Eagles camp opens today in the Moroccan port city of Tangier ahead of Saturday’s tie.

Most invited players are expected in camp after filling out for their various European clubs over the weekend while  officials  based in Nigeria will also arrive at the venue today.

“Coach Gernot Rohr will start to receive his players on Monday and all the players are expected to have arrived at the camp latest on Tuesday,” hinted a reliable source at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

“Technical crew members have already left the country and will be in camp on Monday too because the NFF  places a premium on this match and wouldn’t want to leave anything to chances.”

The Lone Star of Liberia  will host the Super  Eagles at their adopted home in Morocco on Saturday after their Sam Konyon Stadium in Monrovia  failed to meet CAF approval to stage international games.

Meanwhile, Liberia has released the list of 22 players that will prosecute the match.

Notable among the list of players invited Is former Ghana U20 player Jamal Arago who has decided to switch allegiance to Liberia.

The Lone Star of Liberia will hope to revive their dwindling fortune in the on-going Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier when they confront the Eagles who need just two points to progress to the next round.

The Nigeria team will face Cape Verde next Tuesday for their last group match and that could be a mere formality if they beat Liberia.
