A former member of Ogun State House of Assembly, Leye Odunjo, has resigned as the deputy chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

Odunjo, in a letter written to the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, through the state Chairman, Sikirulai Ogundele, also announced his leaving the PDP.
The two-time state legislator said his resignation and withdrawal of membership of the party was a personal decision.
