Oke weeps over deplorable Epe road

The Alliance for Democracy (AD) governorship candidate, Olusola Oke, yesterday wept at the dilapidated state of the road leading to Epe, an agrarian community in Ondo East.

Oke said the AD government, when voted into office, would redress the situation.

The AD candidate, who spoke during a visit to the Elepe of Elepe, High Chief Raphael Olabanji, lamented the poor state of roads in the state.

He assured that his government would embark on massive construction of roads.

Oke told the gathering that the power for the development of the state or otherwise was in their votes as he urged them to vote for the AD.

He implored the people to shun moneybag politicians who were out to amass wealth at the expense of the state.

His words: “There is power in your votes. Do not sell your votes. You have to jealously guard your voter cards. That is what AD has come to represent. Good governance and development in rural and urban areas.

“It is time to sing a new song, song of development in Ondo State. My mission is to turn things around. To stop the plunging of our resources and ensure all-round development. To give our people -youths, women and children – a new lease of life.”
