The Governor Monday Okpebholo administration in Edo State has completed remedial work on the Benin-Iruekpen Federal Road, in order to make movements much easier for motorists.
Okpebholo, who yesterday undertook a tour of the expressway from Aduwawa, Obadan Junction, Ugha, Okhuo and Obagie to other areas, expressed satisfaction about the specification and job done by the contractor who handled the project.

He said his government acknowledged that federal roads were also used by Edo people, while his administration would continue to collaborate with the Federal Government to fix the roads for the benefit of the people.
He said: “You can see what my administration has done in terms of fixing federal roads in Edo State. Initially, the road was not passable, as many accidents were recorded on this road, both small and big vehicles, and lives were lost as well.”
