The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has suspended all its campaign rallies across the State over the cash and fuel crisis in the country.
Ondo APC chairman Ade Adetimehin said the decision was in sympathy with residents of the State.
Adetimehin, in a statement by the spokesman of the party, Alex Kalejaiye, directed party chairmen and Directors-General at all levels within the chapter to suspend rallies in sympathy with the people.
The Ondo PDP Chairman said the country was experiencing the unusual cost of the pump prices and shortage of cash a few weeks before the general elections.

He insisted that the people have the right to be angry but urged them to do so as patriots that believed in a better tomorrow.
He said: “As a party, we identify with our people at this unpleasant period. We agree they are exercising their rights, but urge them to do so with measures of restraints. Our strong belief is that this time shall fade soon.
“The tireless efforts of the Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration to ameliorate the harsh situation, and ensure the security of residents of the Sunshine State is appreciated
“Our party chieftains and members must show more understanding, and identify with those in their various localities.”
