One person has been confirmed dead and several others ill following the outbreak of cholera in Koss Nyellang village of Pankshin local Government Area.
A medical team has been sent to the area to attend to those affected and curtail the spread of the disease, it was said.

The water and Sanitation department in Collaboration with the Primary health care department of the council reportedly put persons showing symptoms of the dieased in quarantine.
Director Water and Sanitation Bulus Joseph Ajang and Director Primary Health Care Martha Hassan lectured the affected community on the causes and prevention of the spread of cholera.
