Fitness and wellness expert, Ekemini Ekerette aka Kemen has revealed that only a political office appointment or position in Nigeria might be able to pay him as much as his current job.
The celebrity trainer and BBNaija ex-housemate made this known to The Nation in an exclusive chat.
He said: “I like to speak very less about the reward because I like Nigerians to stay in their world of assumption but the truth is the fitness business generally is a multi-billionaire business and in as much as in Africa we haven’t been able to tap into it fully, it is also very rewarding. I don’t think there is any job right now that anybody will offer me that will pay me as much as my job pays me except a political office.”
Kemen also revealed how he became the personal trainer to Super Eagles star player, Odion Ighalo, saying, “So I knew he was back into the country, I just got into his dm(Direct Message) and we just chatted. We had our first session and he was blown away since then we have been working together. He’s a great guy, super hardworking, I think he is one of the hardest workers I have ever trained. He comes into the country in the morning, he sets up training in the evening, he comes in the night, sets up training at 7 am the next morning.”
In May 2022, Kemen became the first certified international master trainer in Nigeria and brand ambassador of Technogym Nigeria.
