Osun United Football Club have arrived Lagos State for the maiden edition of the South
West Pre-Season just as as they will lock horns with Gateway United FC by 2pm.
The Omuluabi giants arrived Lagos to intensify preparations for the new NNL season.
The pre-season tourney is the initiative of the South West Football Association Chairmen
to get the clubs in the NNL ready for the new season.
Meanwhile, the head Coach of the team, Duke Udi has stated that the team is preparing for the 2016/17 Nigeria second tier league stating that the aforementioned tourney would enhance his side’s performance.
He said: ” We have some new players in our team who were impressive during our screening exercise.”
The Grouping of the tourney are as follows: Group A :Ikorodu United , Crown FC
, First Bank and Afe Babalola Fc. For Group B, Osun United, Gateway United,My People FC and AS Racine have been placed in the same group.
