Friday is the grand finale of the talent hunt contest for Yoruba Music tagged ‘Ariya Repete’ and sponsored by Goldberg.
The veteran singer who has over 40 albums to his credit, would be joined on stage by fellow Fuji greats like Wasiu Ayinde, Juju Maestro King Sunny Ade and the “Woju” crooner – Kiss Daniel.
And that sounds as a place to be for the Weekend, as the grand finale show which would see 16 upcoming artistes contesting for the grand prize of N2million would also see Taye Currency on live stage.
Goldberg’s Ariya Repete has been promoting the very best of Fuji, Juju and traditional drumming having taken its talent hunt to all the states in western Nigeria, scouting for the new generation of talented artists to take Fuji and Juju music to the next level.
The Ariya Repete train stopped in Lagos, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun, Ogun will now make its final stop in Ibadan and all eyes will be eagerly waiting to see who emerges victorious in the 3 categories (Juju, Fuji & traditional music) walks home with a mouth watering 2 million Naira.
